Valley Leadership announces Kenneth J. Schutz and Karrin Taylor Robson as the organization’s newest Man & Woman of the Year. The pair will be honored for their long-term contributions and commitment to our community at the Annual Man & Woman of the Year event along with the late Sen. John McCain, who will receive the inaugural Person of The Decade award.
Valley Leadership announced members of Valley Leadership Institute Class 41 and Valley Leadership Accelerate 2019. The two cohorts—a cross-sector mix of diverse leaders with multiple perspectives on issues—were chosen through a competitive selection process.
Valley Leadership (VL) has hired Bridget Jones as Vice President, Leadership Development. This first-ever head of learning position will oversee Valley Leadership’s leadership cultivation programming to empower Arizona leaders to tackle the most pressing issues facing our state. Jones will design and implement learning curriculum to grow the knowledge, skills and network class members need to make immediate and systemic change in Arizona.

Five local philanthropic partners have collectively agreed to invest in the organization’s Pivot Toward Impact, a strategic change that shifts the focus from a leadership program that individuals start and finish, to developing a leadership culture within Arizona that seeks to impact long-term issues.

The pair will be honored for their long-term contributions and commitment to our community at the Annual Man & Woman of the Year awards luncheon on March 29, 2019 at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa.
