Each year, approximately 50 members are selected for this nine-month program, which is in its 37th year. Through program days, tours, and group projects, participants can expect a life-changing experience that will advance passions and accelerate pursuits for the individual, in turn elevating our community. By drawing from the expertise of the State’s most respected and influential business, civic and community leaders, we provide real-time realities surrounding the most important issues shaping our community today, and in the future.


This new addition to VL’s program offerings is designed for high potential leaders, either new to Arizona or new to civic engagement, who want to understand where we’ve been as a state, where we’re going, who is leading the charge, and how to plug in. The program consists of six powerful, compact sessions, a retreat, community service project, and connection to Arizona’s top talent.


Designed to empower youth to lead, our innovative and experiential workshop series tasks high school students with designing and awarding grant funds to local nonprofits and community organizations. The students meet 4 times and work together to gain a deep understanding of the significance of philanthropy. Through the practice of giving time, talent, and treasure, we cultivate change agents early in their leadership careers.
