VALLEY LEADERSHIP SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR MAN & WOMAN OF THE YEAR HONOREES
PHOENIX-Valley Leadership is now accepting nominations for the 59th Annual Man & Woman of the Year recipients. Each year Valley Leadership solicits nominations from the public in its search for qualified candidates, seeking one man and woman who have demonstrated significant visionary leadership and community service in the Valley. As a general rule, the service to the community must be outside the scope of the honoree’s day-to-day employment.
After careful consideration and evaluation of the nomination forms, a representative committee of past honorees, community leaders and Valley Leadership alumni, selects the year’s honorees. Specifically documenting what each nominee has accomplished is essential to the award selection process.
The 2007 Man & Woman of the Year will be honored at a presentation luncheon on March 20, 2008, at the Arizona Biltmore. Many previous Man & Woman of the Year honorees attend the event to recognize the new recipients.
Nomination forms are available on the Valley Leadership website at www.valleyleadership.org or at the office located at 4020 N 20th Street, Suite 202, Phoenix, 85016. The nomination deadline is December 1, 2007 and all form contents are held in strict confidence.
This annual event has been made possible with the continuous support of APS, The Arizona Republic, KPHO-CBS 5, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Arizona and Wells Fargo.
